Todd Woodmansee:
I have a strong background in public service, having served as a Deputy Attorney General for Jeff Modisett and a Deputy Prosecutor for Scott Newman. I have operated my own small business for the past 8 years. I also interned for the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles and the Indiana State Police, along with the Indiana House of Representatives. My educational background, with a major in political science, along with my work experience, make me uniquely suited to address the issues facing our city, from budgets to crime to economic development and education.
I will bring a wide array of experience to the council and will always work for the citizens of Indianapolis without focusing on the next election. We are in difficult econcomic times, but I do not believe this administration nor this council can claim fiscal responsibility while giving away so many tax dollars on the sale of public assets and to the Indiana Pacers.
Todd Woodmansee:
1. Economic development, especially in our district on the eastside with encouraging small businesses. Putting people to work will expand our revenues and help improve the services the city provides.
2. Public Safety - the crime rate in our city has increased while budgets for public safety agencies have been cut or stayed flat. To attract and retain businesses and residents, we must reverse this trend.
Todd Woodmansee:
The Irvington Halloween Fesitval - it is an incredible event that showcases the eastside of Indianapolis and all of the great local homes and businesses. I would also encourage visitors to eat at Jockamo Pizza on East Washington Street as it is an incredible local establishment with great food.
