Robert DeJohn:
The biggest issue the city will face in 2012 will be the sustantial cutbacks from the State of Ohio. The city will need to balance their budget without eliminating services or raising taxes.
Robert DeJohn:
No. The council should not be wasting tax payer money on this type of issue. We have an Ohio Ethics Commission as well as the media that can investigate this type of issue. If elected I will focus on solving city issues and problems while avoiding these type of actions.

Nino Monaco:
Today’s economic uncertainty is the biggest issue facing Mayfield Heights and poses a tremendous threat to the level of service our city provides. My goal is to ensure the well-being of and improve the service we deliver to all residents from our youth to our seniors. By implementing volunteer programs and soliciting donations from thriving businesses in the community, I will establish and fund initiatives focused on property maintenance, food service, transportation, and recreation.
Nino Monaco:
I firmly believe that every citizen, including the mayor, is entitled to his or her privacy. I equally believe, however, that public officials have a duty to be transparent in their dealings. This builds trust within the community and removes any suspicions of impropriety. As a newly appointed council member, I am currently gathering additional information about this situation so that I will be in a better position to make the right decision.

Geno Trunzo:
I believe the decline in property values continues to be a challenge for our city.

As I was not part of any discussion on this issue, I feel it is not appropriate of me to comment.
