In brief, what will be your top three priorities if elected (one sentence each, please).
Should the state provide more school choice for children, including the expansion of charter schools, vouchers for private schools and enabling children to attend public schools outside of their home districts?
Would you make any changes to how schools are funded by the state, including so-called Abbott districts and wealthier suburban localities?
Should the state continue to adopt regional planning initiatives to prevent sprawl, and if so, how should preservation be funded?
Do you support Gov. Christie's energy master plan or would you seek more lofty goals for conservation and renewable energy?
Experts say New Jersey's transportation infrastructure is crumbling. How should the state fund upgrades: continued bonding or borrowing, a gas tax, toll hikes or some other specified method?
What would you do to provide relief for property taxpayers -- for example, further program cuts, additional state aid and rebates -- and should municipalities and schools be forced to do more to regionalize or share services?

WINNER: Angelica M. Jimenez: 1. Defending unions rights to collective bargaining 2. Education (Keeping Public Schools strong and continue funding 3. Women's Rights (especially with medical tests)

WINNER: Angelica M. Jimenez: I'm not a firm believer in the Charter School system but being a Catholic School educated person, vouchers aren't a bad idea but not at the punishment of the public school funding.

WINNER: Angelica M. Jimenez: I live in an Abbott district and it is greatly beneficial to the students but the part I don't understand about Abbott is how neighboring towns may not fall under the same criteria, even though the demographics are similar.

WINNER: Angelica M. Jimenez: Unfamiliar with the regional planning initiatives but will look into it.

WINNER: Angelica M. Jimenez: Working with recycling plants to produce energy. In 2012, all cities and towns need a recycling coordinator that is State certified. Getting these coordinators to enforce the recycling laws will in itself conserve our areas as well as use recycling to renew energy.

WINNER: Angelica M. Jimenez: I agree with your assessment on our infrastructure but also using recycled materials to repair roads, using new and improved machinery to repair roads which will enable to use lee manpower to operate this equipment. Raising taxes is not the way because people just can't afford anymore out of their pockets.

WINNER: Angelica M. Jimenez: I live in an Abbott district so the school tax is low. We also have the North Hudson Regionalized Fire Department. I feel if more employees (police,fire,teachers and town employees) lived in the town they work, the employees will give that little extra, whether volunteering and spending in their own town. Businesses grow, more unity.

WINNER: Angelica M. Jimenez: We as legislators, have to show by example that we are in this painful, economic time. We have to be aware, every time we vote on issues, how will this effect the people of NJ. We can't afford to keep taking from the residents of NJ to bail out the mistakes of others. Improve education, try not to be too top heavy on the top and hire more teachers to educate our children.
